  Universal Prayer Tower (UPT) is a grassroots community-based organization in diverse sectors rooted in the 7th Congressional District of Chicago, Illinois. Our organization’s effectiveness is evident in working with individuals and families to help prevent homelessness and to assist them in maintaining a lifestyle of self-sufficiency through the community service programs we provide.  

 Universal Prayer Tower (UPT) began with Wednesday night prayer in the home of Apostle Debra Dill.  Wednesday night prayer, soon turned into bible study/prayer and more and more people from the community began to join. In April 2004 after having been led by God and sent forth, Universal Prayer Tower had its very first service on Good Friday at the fine arts building Located at 410 South Michigan Ave., Chicago IL in the 10th-floor auditorium. The service was a great success with over 100 people in attendance. God moved by his spirit and blessed us for our obedience!
